AI Literacy Bootcamp: Transforming Lives
Recently, we sponsored the AI Literacy Bootcamp organised by After School Academy in collaboration with the Teens’ Ministry, FBC, Owerri. This is in line with our mission to equip the less privileged and empower young people for self-reliance.
This transformative 3-week program was designed to introduce young people to the world of Artificial Intelligence (AI), enabling them to acquire future-ready skills that drive productivity, creativity, and education. For us, this was more than just a training program; it was an investment in the digital leaders of tomorrow.
AI Literacy Bootcamp: Building Knowledge, Building Leaders
The bootcamp was structured into three impactful phases:
- Weeks 1 & 2: Intensive learning and hands-on practical sessions on AI concepts, tools, and applications.
- Week 3: Capstone projects – participants applied their knowledge to solve real-world problems in groups.
Through this structure, the youths were able to build great solutions.
Capstone Project Presentation
On Saturday, 13th September 2025, we had the AI Literacy Bootcamp Capstone Project Presentation. It was inspiring to see young people confidently showcase the solutions they built using AI.

- AI-Powered Virtual Assistant for Customer Support
A digital assistant designed to answer FAQs and route complex issues to human representatives, streamlining customer service for businesses. - AI-Driven Intelligent Tutoring System for Math Education
A personalised tutoring system that helps students learn math at their own pace, providing instant feedback and assessment. - AI-Driven Brand Identity and Asset Creation
A tool that generates consistent brand logos, designs, and visual assets for businesses, saving time and resources. - AI-Powered Explainer Video Creation
An innovative solution that creates engaging explainer videos for products, services, and concepts automatically. - AI-Powered Adaptive Learning Platform
A personalised learning system that adapts to each student’s style, pace, and strengths, making education more inclusive and effective.
These projects are not just school exercises; they are a testament to the creativity, intelligence, and resilience of Nigerian youths when given the right tools and support.
